Siobhan Fitzpatrick (Clinic Owner) BSc, MSc, MISCP
Siobhan Fitzpatrick is a Chartered Physiotherapist and member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). Siobhan graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree (BSc Hons) in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin (UCD) in 2004. She returned to UCD to continue her postgraduate studies and gained a Master of Science (MSc) in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2011. Her postgraduate qualifications have awarded her level II IFOMPT (International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists) membership.
Siobhan works in University Hospital Waterford as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal Triage. This role involves working as an advanced practitioner assessing chronic orthopaedic conditions such as osteoarthritic knees and hips and deciding on the most appropriate treatment route for the client. Siobhan works closely with the Orthopaedic team and is continuously developing her skills as an Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in this area.
Siobhan has long been involved in the treatment of sports injuries and has significant experience in managing conditions specific to runners, triathletes and GAA players. She has worked as chartered physiotherapist to Ballygunner Hurling Club for over ten years and was lead physiotherapist to the Waterford Senior hurling team for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
